At Zynclog ("we", "our", or "us"), your privacy is a top priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Zynclog platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to you ("Personal Data"):

• Account Information: When you log in via OAuth (Google/GitHub) or Magic Link, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture.
• Usage Data: We automatically collect data regarding your interaction with the platform, including IP addresses, browser types, request timestamps, and API usage, primarily for rate-limiting and security purposes.
• User Content: Data, projects, and milestones you actively create within the Zynclog dashboard.

2. Payment Information

We do not store your financial data. All credit card, UPI, and bank account information is handled directly by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, Paddle. We only receive a billing token and the status of your transaction to update your account tier.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Zynclog platform.
• Process transactions and send related information, including confirmations and invoices.
• Manage your account and provide customer support.
• Monitor usage patterns to prevent abuse, fraud, and server overloads.

4. Information Sharing and Subprocessors

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with trusted third-party subprocessors necessary to operate our business:

• Vercel: Cloud hosting and serverless infrastructure.
• Upstash: Redis database infrastructure for caching and strict rate-limiting.
• Paddle: Secure payment and subscription processing.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard organizational and technical measures to protect your Personal Data. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session (via NextAuth.js), remember your preferences, and secure your account. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies, but this will prevent you from logging into the platform.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, India), you have the right to:

• Access the Personal Data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request the complete deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact our support team. Upon an account deletion request, all personal data and workspace content will be permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days.
